Australian units use the PAL not NTSC. Ill answer you mate.
I said it would be OEM on the head unit end and RCA at the camera end, But I got the cable from Ofey last night and its not RCA at any end. Both ends are just wires and a plug comes with it that you connect the wires to so you can connect it to the head unit.

So it looks like you can only use an OEM camera. I'm sure I saw someone on here use a generic camera. I will search these forums and find that post again. I hope I don't have to buy the OEM camera, it's around $220.

Thanks mate, it does look like it is PAL.

If you knew what wire was what ie video, ground, and shield, you could make your own RCA end for it

The camera end has 4 wires.

color / marking
==========
red / ACC
white / VRV
blue / R-EX
clear / SB1

I'm guessing there is 2 for the video signal and 2 for power.
ACC sounds like it might be power(+), but whats VRV, R-EX and SB1 ?

I have a generic camera and pics posted of it in one thread but I dont have the MMCS crap, instead a Pioneer AVIC F-900BT. Even still my camera cost $200, but you get what you pay for...

I pondered over the acronyms for a few minutes, and be buggered if I can think of what they are. Well, ACC is obvious, but the other NFI. If you do find out, I can help.

BUt if you're keeping your MMCs, then there is no problem.

Or just buy an aftermarket camera.

Are cameras really that expensive if you use an aftermarket screen, such as the aforementioned Pioneer?

Sorry, I came in to ask if anyone can recommend the scuff plates and the Lancer embossed alloy fuel door?

I have the Lancer Scuff plates. i reckon they look awesome!

I will be investing in JDM "Galant Fortis" embossed ones, when I feel the need.

You can also get Ralliart ones, here in Australia. These look good too.

The lancer Alloy fuel door is cool too, I might get it one day, been considering it for a while now.

It does reduce the size of the opening a bit, bit nothing major.

I have the scuff plates, and I like them. I tend to think they are more for looks than protection though! They protect the paint more than the plastic though.

I don't have the fuel door though.

MZ575839EX GRILLE-SPORTS UPR-WHITE-W37 A$378.00

Try getting it from your dealer as well to check the price. Don't forget with me I'll have to ship it to you.

I can only say the RRP of A$450 is a rip off.

I can see on PMR's quote to me that the RRP is A$359+= A$394.90 which is what your quote is for.
