Uh no.

Manily because you probably will get bogged getting bck out. Not to mention all the salt water and sand that will get into parts where it is not designed.

4x4s are different. They have extra seals on bearings etc to prevent this, but it can still get in even in a 4x4.

Don't do it.

Maybe he enjoys nice strolls on the beach and would love his lancer to come along hehe..... jokes...

I can't see that it would be a good idea, so much salt and sand.... it is bad enough trying to get it all off a 4WD.

Makes me think of the episode of Top Gear where they have a ford fiesta I think on the beach with military in it... not half staged I bet!!

ROFL at strolling on the beach with CJ

OMG, my mum wants that fiesta so bad. Honestly i wouldnt mind a green one in the zetec or ghia trim.

Yeah, go ahead guys laugh.

They've just got a really unique flair to them. Only thing i dont like, is the interior dash part where the stereo is, ugly as all hell!

They are quite a stylish car, but don't think I could bring myself to own one... love my mitsubishis too much... a ralliart colt would be the go if you wanted a smaller car :D

Man, hate to say it but i was a little shattered when i saw the demo model of the RA colt go at preston motors, sold the RA colt for like 23500!

Same price i paid for mine....I would of been up in the air for so long if i had the choice between my CJ and the RA colt at the time...But since it wasnt out i couldnt get oneee! But im happy with my CJ, and ill never look back!

If it wasn't for the fact that I need the space, I have to say I am tempted by the RA colt... Love my Lancer though :D

A Lancer on the beach probably wouldn't end well :(
One time when me and some mates were camping we took a really old ford laser on the beach, it lasted about 5 seconds before it got bogged.

We had to wait for someone to come tow us out, and they snapped something on the weel which they tied it onto! LOL

They were nice and drove to a caryard and got a replacement part though.
