How about you leave the top as it is now and use black mesh for the bottom grill to match your spotlight grills

I actually put the top mesh on first and left the bottom stock. Stood back and looked and thought the top was a bit out of place...

I guess I will just need to experiment :)

I have a suggestions
1) Do your foggies in the same mesh or
2) Do a line in level with the top of the foggies mesh across the top of the bottom silver bit and paint from there down in black sorta give it a two tone effect

and good work for trying something different.

I see there are kits to be bought on eBay, same as you have done... also you can get billet grills for top, bottom and foggies... sheesh!

I have to confess I am a lazy lazy person... lol.... :P I definitely did not like the billet stuff though... I am not driving an F-150!!
Did not see matching mesh for the foggies though.. not for the CJ....

I have seen so many intercoolers with wording sprayed into them.. I wonder what could be done on the lower grill, to emulate this...

Black wording: 'ClubCJ' perhaps!?!?!?!?

I don't think that would work as good. The intercooler fins are much closer together....

It doesn't look too bad, I personally would prefer the black.
I have some spare blue mesh laying around at home I might even give that a try one day if I'm bored.

I like those grilles Ozie..... I suffer a heart attack every time I think about how much they are to buy!!

That was the other thing I thought about, was colour coding them... but I think it would be too much blue...

Yeah, gold on gold would probably be too much for mine too!

Although, so would the silver aspire grill, IMO.
