FRONT GRILL

Mmm leevin asked me for a picture of the v-lip installed and wasn't sure where else to put this. This pic was taken prety much during installation and so the car is pretty filthy... as you can probably see in the corner im still jacking the car down.

Nice! black on black works well with the V-lip!
Is that painted? or as-shipped??

Nah not painted left it the way it came.. I'm pretty happy with the way it came out despite my reservations about the finish earlier on. I'll get a better pic up once the weather clears up and I can give the car a wash. Btw.. thanks again to ofey for setting up the group buy.

Give tadz or I a yell if u want a hand / have any troubles aspired - just remember u gotta like pre-bend the stuff in the corners one at a time as you stick it to the car. If not cos it's so stiff it peels itself off over time ;-)

Maybe aspired can just black out this grill with vinyl and then do the RA trim with the autobarn stuff?

But you want the whole thing black there yeah? not just the surrounds?

What I'm after is the chrome surrounds that are on the aspire but i want the black grills.

Sorta like that but i also wanna get the chrome bottom surround as well.

basically like the aspire but with black grill.

Just gotta find someone selling their chrome surrounds!

Yeah I want the whole thing black, the same as Lascoe, But I'll black out the bumper with vinyl aswell. I want to hold on to the factory grills incase I want to go back.

Anyone with a white Lancer Aspire had their grill blacked out here ? I'm getting my white Lancer Aspire soon and thinking of doing it , but afraid that it'll look funny because aspire comes with the chrome lining at the front.

^^ Not at all lpy, if you black out the front, your front end will virtually be a VRX!

Unless you fail like this person obviously did...
