tough.
I guess if someone wanted to vandalise your car, it'd happen anyways.
You know those front air dams? I could give those a hard yank and they'd break off anyways. I may not get them for my own car but I'd prevent someone from having it on their car.
Yes the eyelids can be pulled off but so long as it's not something internal or bolted on, I can vandalise it.
I could also key your car and get away with it.
I think it's fairly difficult to say that other body kit parts are permanently attached.

yeah, true... better that they DO come off, if they were bolted to the hood or headlight, your hood or headlight could get damaged too!
But anyways... I recently removed my highrise(lowrise) spoiler and have removed chrome trim... that shit is STRONG and eyelids are WEAK... if you were trying to take them off in a hurry you'd snap it and be taking it off in pieces... not plugging the eyelids... I'm indifferent myself, but the tape (assuming here it's same quality as standard stuff) is good shit...
I'd almost consider getting the $40 ones and NOT painting them... the black on blue thing seems to be working for me so far...
But if I wasn't going to do that I probably won't get them at all - don't wanna pay too much, since i'm indifferent

I felt compelled to write about them since ofey showed them to us in person...
On the night I was almost sold - I put 'em on my car and they do look wicked, but ANOTHER thing.....
I'm not sure on the legality of it. If it doesn't comply with ADR rules (and these haven't been tested) I don't know if u can mount stuff ON your actual headlights...
Ha ha - seems the essay was unfinished!

From the start, I think I should proclaim ILLEGAL. Might help everyone. Hmm let's change the title or our post.
You know that HID thread selling HIDs? I should prefix it with ILLEGAL.
You know the Magnaflow EXAUST? Perhaps I should prefix it with ILLEGAL - You will fail a sound test.
It's never ending... .

Well, I'd question the legality of it, not because of the mounting to the headlight as such, but the amount of obstruction to the indicator.
It appears to obstructs a fair amount of the lens surface area of the indicator section.
Just like I said with the 3rd Brake light overlay, you would probably never get pulled over for it, but there is that slight chance it could happen.
Not trying to put a dampener on this, but since Jazzy is questioning the ADR legality on this I thought people might like a legal point of view, and who better to give it than me since I read the ADRs in my spare time LOL
Thanks all
