Yeah look ill be honest, i dont agree with everyones opinions here, and all of us break the rules at one time or another. I openly admit, i do speed. but i laugh in the face of people who try to race and show off in front of me. Ive never been one to give into peer pressure or anything like that. Id never do anything that would put my life in risk or anyone elses for that matter.
We all say we abide to the club rules but none of us can say they TRULEY have never sped, ran a red light etc. Accident or on perpose. People make mistakes, and they accept the concequences. Josh is doing that, even if he is a doosh for speeding or racing...or whatever he lost his licence for.
My mate killed his best friend while hooning, and lost his leg in the process and he was lucky to get off without a jail sentence. He made the mistake of hooning and he accepted the concequences, he lost his licence for the next 2 years and isnt aloud to drive high powered cars for the rest of his life. Having to live with that on your conscious is much worse than loosing your leg in my opinion
Everyone likes to have a bit of fun when their driving, no body can deny that. Id like to think everyone would give their car a good squirt every now and then but to do it on public roads is just wrong.
Thats my opinion.
EDIT: As for everyone using me as an example, dont, i aint perfect lol.

The first time was a stupid mistake on my part - I had 4 people in the car and I thought cops would see the P plates and lots of people and pull me over for the LNDR (Late night driving restriction) one passenger stuff. So i took them off. And promptly drove through an RBT 3 corners later. lol, fail.
second time i parked up at a local shopping mall with magnetic p's on, forgot to take them off, and when i got back some pricks had decided they'd have a bit of fun and break them - i.e. take them off and tear them into pieces and magnetise the little pieces all over the car. so i kept the bits (being broke at the time and unable to buy new ones) deciding i'd just explain to any cop who happened to pull me over. but the cop that pulled me over was a smart ass dick - 'you were at the shops why couldnt you just buy new ones' 'i had no money' 'why didnt you get a mate to drive' and eventually i just got pissed off at him and told him to just write the fucking ticket already.

Bit of a shame imo. I dont know how a little piece of plastic can make such a big deal. Cops cant say that little piece of plastic helps other drivers indentify you as a hazard or something like that. Learner, Yeah definitly needs the plates. But if people pass their p plate test they are obviously a confident driver. Unfortunatly you coped the short end of the stick with the way everything turned out for you.
i can honestly say, ive only seen about 5 p platers who look like they should still be on their L's.
Please note, im not defending josh. People gotta understand that everyone makes mistakes and josh has taken it on the chin, like everyone should.

A smart person would tone it down after the first time or if not the second time, but only an idiot keeps on going to get caught a third time and lose there license. And I agree with the others a title "Epic Fail" and you attitude makes you think its a joke.
No one here's proclaiming to be angels, yet most of us sure as hell hadn't racked up 5 offences and lost our licenses by the time we were 18!

by the time i was 19 would be more accurate - im 19 in like 2 months.
as for toning it down - i had 3 tickets in the space of about two weeks back when i had my license for about 2 months when i was 17. i went on a good behavior bond. 3 weeks from the end, i got caught by a cop car in oncoming traffic who said i was doing 15 k's over. im pretty sure i wasnt, and i was surrounded by traffic myself, but, as ive said, i have been known to slip down slightly before, so i took it on the chin.
no, i do NOT consider it a joke. In fact, its one more thing to add to my horror two weeks. its not the worst thing that has happened to me recently, but nevertheless, its pretty bad. im not laughing. the funny thing is - if i was on an OPEN LICENSE, i would still have it. its this stupid p-plater 4 point thing that makes it hard.

i think it could be more of the speeding thing that would be the problem.
but to be a late commer to the situation and just whent threw everything from the start i would say that everyone has been quite tough on you josh and that is how we all should react. its not a good thing and the overwelming reactions are ment to affect you thats the point.
but now that the club has told you how we felt it would be wrong of us to hold it agains you. i hope that now you know how we all feel about the subject and how hard the next 6 months of your life will be that you come out the other end of this thinking about things differently.
i dont the the ban thing was serious and due to your amount of posts and moderator postion i just think poeple that thought so highly of you where just a bit dissapointed
when your hands are on the wheel you are a loaded weapon some people just need to think about that some more
</RANT>.....its contagious

the only dudes on your side are Tadz.....on his L's.
and Peanut.......Sitting it out like yourself waiting to get his license back.
Its like you don't get it Josh....
We are all your Mates. And we only want good things for you.
Everyone has an opinion about you and it's great to see, because everyone holds you in high regard....you are a mod for crying out loud.
After all is said and done....... its just very UNCOOL.

i recognise that i have made mistakes - but no more or less than others.
ofey wrote:Too bad josh. Slow down on the roads. You can live life at 100kmh but not drive at that speed.
I hope it makes you realise that you can't keep driving the way you do.
Time to do angel eyes and sound deadening?
ofey wrote:So you just get your license back in 6mths? that's actually not too bad.
What if they made you redo your L and Ps? Now that would be really TRAGIC!!
*breaks into song* "Always look on the bright side of life... " *whistles tune*
What did I say that came across as me being an angel? And also I never called you an idiot from what I've said.
