Postby Josh_Emerton » Fri Jul 24, 2009 2:46 am

Well I finally did it and ****ed up so bad I lost my license. After 14 points on my license it was gonna happen sometime lol, and I got the letter the other day - 6 month suspension starting 4th august. poor me. but!

Pro's - no petrol costs = more money i can save towards the car.

Sorry, no sympathy from me. You choose to drive like a twat, you suffer the consequences.

Just be bloody grateful they got you off the street with a license suspension, not a shovel.

How the hell do you rack up 14 points?? Surely after the first ticket or two you'd think you'd slow down :?

Too bad josh. Slow down on the roads. You can live life at 100kmh but not drive at that speed.

I hope it makes you realise that you can't keep driving the way you do.

Ouch thats no good.. I'm glad I got over any "silly" driving or as police might interprerate it "hoonish behaviour" early in my driving career, it's just not worth it.

Sorry that you lost your license, hopefully it's the first and last time though!

So you just get your license back in 6mths? that's actually not too bad.

What if they made you redo your L and Ps? Now that would be really TRAGIC!!

You're lucky you live in Cairns, where your Uni and shops are close by where you live. In T'ville, you lose your license........you're screwed. Everything is so far away. After seeing the way you drive dude, it was inevitable. You'll have to get someone else to drive you to Townsville for poker!

And Adrian is right......better to be off the road then under it!

Why would you even make a post about this, like it's something to be proud of? If it were me, I'd be too embarassed from bringing the Club into disrepute.

Absolutely ZERO sympathy here.

I'll be in QLD in a couple of months. Glad there's one less idiot to worry about on the road for a while.

Not your best work, senior moderator.....

I think it was good that he made a post about him losing his license. Its definitely not something to be proud of, ClubCJ is about learning from each other. just hope Josh has learnt something from the replies he got from his post.

He'll keep on learning for years to come - next time he tries to get insurance, goes for a job that requires a clean driving record, blah blah blah...
