There's just so many great items at great costs at the SAME BLOODY TIME!!! lol - not any fault of anyone on this site - it's great that you can GET all these deals at once ofey! But ppl's incomes and situations are all different. I was thinking of this, but once the lip went on and the bill for the wheels arrived, I was left thinking "bum... and it's BIRTHDAY month too - got like 3-4 bithdays I gotta buy presents for..." and my interest in this had to, HAD to take a back seat...
There ARE however, items that I would have FOUND THE MONEY for at ANY COST! lol - eg. shadows EVO wing deal, I had to find extra money for that, but it was a great price on an item I was DEFINATELY going to get at some point, and I was going to save on shipping etc. by getting in on his deal...
I think this might help too:
If ppl when registering EOI express and AMOUNT of "I" - lol, like let us know if
"u'll be in if it's a good price and u have money and nothing better comes up"
OR
"You've been waiting for this item all your life and will transfer funds right away if it's definately going ahead - you DON'T want to, no... CAN'T miss out!"
Ie. I would have said option 1 for this thread honestly, and have said in other threads, but I don't want to seem like someone who 'always pulls out' - I'm just showing a 5/10 intrest instead of 10/10...
Daveee's idea could still work to help correct this tho - ppl with 10/10 interest will likely pay early... but if there's an issue and the parts aren't purchased? or the price of the parts goes up 20%? or they see the same part brand new for 50% off - what will the rules be on getting a refund? Sounds like it'll be a lot more work for the 'cheif buyer' IMO - that's totally your decision tho cheif ofey

Obviously there are a few kinks to be worked out of the idea to make it fair for everyone. But generally that sort of thing with finding it cheaper on your own from elsewhere you should investigate these avenues before putting the money down.
Even if you can find it cheaper, chances are the group buy can be switched to that vendor to purchase from as everyone will be winning in the end.
Anyway something for the committee to discuss.

The big problem I have now is that I need 5 people to get this price and I don't know who has voted in that poll and then pulled out so I've removed.
Now those who are really UP to support this group buy. Please let's get going.
I've negotiated with Eibach Australia that I'll do it in sets of 5 i.e. once I get 5 people, I can put in an order. So we'll do a couple of runs if need be but I need 5 people on each run.

If your thinking about coil overs, how about pedders, no problems with overseas shipping and their new coilovers look good. But I don't know how much $$$
Check out this brochre (has an evo in there)
And there is this short video aswell.

I'm not willing to shell out coilover kind of money for a car I will use probably for 5yrs more (unless I strike the lottery OR lose my job).
So still Eibach's for me will suffice. I would love to have coilovers but I just can't justify the cost.
So I know b3n87, leevin and cjsig are with me for the Eibachs. Anyone else?
