K&N Stainless steel reuseable oil filters.

Postby awood » Sun Jul 11, 2021 11:14 am

Has anyone here ever purchased or used one?
Not just K&N , but if I was to buy one , that's what it will be , any of the ones out there?
I used to run a large magnet on my GSXR oil filters but these ones come with a built in magnet.
Does anyone think there a good investment or better off sticking to a normal throw away filter?

Why do you need a magnet on a GSXR motor ?
They are damn good motors and don't fall to bits like Hyundai motors do.
A decent oil filter like the Ryco Z411ST , get them either wholesale or price matches at Super cheap auto

I think I would stick with a replaceable filter. The price of a billet reusable will buy you an awful lot of normal filters.

Absolutely 100% beyond any shadow of a doubt Totally agree with you

If you need to have a magnet to pick up all the metal shavings in the motor , then you have much bigger issues the magnet can't fix
