Factory window tint sratching?

Well MY08 VRX had scratching, right through from the early releases to atleast the May 08 revision (mine's May 08 build with the supposedly extra sound proofing).

daveee has reported scratching on his MY09 VRX, so if they altered the seal on the VRX it was mid-MY09. My dealer seemed to think that Oct-Nov 09 builds had the altered seal before they reverted back to the original seal. But it would seem that everyone is getting a different story, which is really making this very confusing! Be good to hear from someone who's got a very recent MY09 build and will be something to check out on the MY10s.

I have an October 08 build MY09 and hope to buggery that the scratching isn't an issue.

Very disappointing that this is a known malfunction but there isn't any moves to fix it. Outlanders also have the same issue.

ps. a note for someone who said they had 'factory tint' fitted. You don't - it would be fitted by the dealer on your behalf at the time of purchasing the vehicle.
