4b12 and 4b11 clutches the same?

Postby Aussiesausage » Mon Jul 06, 2020 2:01 am

So I'm up for a new clutch finally in my 2010 VRX, I'm seeing that the 2.4l and 2.0l use the same clutch and flywheels? Can anyone confirm as I got told by my local shop there different, exedy thinks there the same? Can anyone confirm please?

From memory they are the same

If your going to drop in a new clutch and flywheel, don't bother with the OEM one
Drop in at least a heavy-duty unit,I have an NPC unit from NPC in Brisbane.
Feather light under the foot compared to OEM

Have a hunt thru here , it may help

Exedy are an excellent clutch. We fit them exclusively to our customer cars and have never had a comeback. Just remember to get the flywheel machined otherwise you will get a shudder.

If your going to the trouble to Machine the fly wheel
Get it lightened as well
I bought the NPC heavy duty clutch with lightened flywheel for under half the price of an OEM flywheel on it own
