Spare key fob not working. Any ideas?

Nope nothing....

Has it ever worked, and have you tried using the physical key to start the car? by taking it out and re-attaching it to the fob.

That should tell you if it is the right fob for the car.

No the key has never worked, but ill try again once I get home.

If it hasn't ever worked
It maybe the key isn't coded to the ETACS box
Even though the metal key itself is cut
The key won't work till coded
A decent locksmith can get the coding right
