out of interest, is it worth getting the brakes and exhaust off and evo if you could?

i may or may not know this guy (my cousin), who got 3 imported from Japan (he works for a crew who races them) and the first thing he did was upgrade the brakes and the exhaust and tyres and wheels.

said i could have them for a very discounted price :) ive been considering it ....

Brakes are heaps better off the evos compared to a VRX

Brakes are 4 piston Brembo units up front with 350mm ventilated disks and 2 piston calipers, 330mm disks up back, Way better then VRX. I think the rims look better aswell. If you can, get the lot

ouch ..... we had an evo come in when i worked at another dealership with nothing but the cabin intact the engine was on a seperate truck along with the whole front end

i figured as much, not so much interested in the wheels as i have mags i really like already.

but was thinking an upgrade for the brakes as well as exhaust could only be a good thing.

out of interest, the evo brakes front and back, what would you expect to pay for them?

Not sure about the Lancer, But I think the 4 piston Brembo calipers are a couple of grand for the fords.

Damn.... Still has the Red tail lights....

I was going to SHOTGUN the black versions, if they were there..... :P

Sad thing is, I bet the parents forked out for something else afterwards too...

they arent the bbs (as shown on the evo x mr) but the enkei's as shown on the normal evo x.

getting a price shortly :)
