Looks the same as the old one!

Jokes aside I'll believe it when I see it, and they really can't do this as a stand alone model it needs a non EVO Lancer to drive sales.

I'm pretty sure these guys would beg to differ with your sales model

I know a number of other manufacturers who will not agree with you either

Mitsubishi is now a sub brand, I think it is a bit hard to compare a company that started building battleships can be compared to a company that has made some of the most sought after cars in history. And Ferrari hasn't been brought out and parted out at the expense of serious r and d. Fiat owned and then sold it off, but Ferrari are still a powerhouse. Mitsubishi hardly compete in events as a factory team anymore, and probably won't be around much longer.

There's a number of companies who have been bought out over the years and are still around today and still selling products with a decent sales model that works.
There's plenty of companies that did it tough in the early years and are still around today as well.

and some are merly the brand name as a fond memory that people buy not realising it is actually a Renault, or a Chrysler... look at how many brands Unilever owns.

It is a shame an actual Mitsi Evo won't be a thing anymore, even the Skyline GTR has a lot of Renault in its styling. But Nissan still has a reasonable grip on its own brand still. Although Benz did steal the Navara chassis for its first ute.

I'm just saying not everyone could afford the EVO, thats one reason we got the Ralliart. Even if they had different spec EVOs like in the UK it would be better than just one spec.

@lancerdarryl - maybe, but only time will tell if its even done.

Many still think the last real EVO was the 9.

I love the Evo 9 because of the engine and the aggressive look....
As far as my knowledge, i know the Evo 10 has a better turbo than the Evo 9. However, the Evo 9 capable of being abused more. I'm talking like if i will ever own one lmao. i have a base and i love it :D

I'm stuck with my 'big block' 2.4 NA for the foreseeable future.

Nothing wrong with the 4B12
I can do the 4G69 throttle body conversion on it
I can get Merlin Tuning to send up a ECU tune for it and I can reflash it
We can make it go like a rocket ship in no time
