Yeah its to do with the keyless start, the car detects the keys inside when you try and lock it. The ES lacks keyless start right?

Correct, but genuine OEM push button start kit is available plus its plug & play. They are becoming more rare these days. You still have to turn the key to the on position and press the start button so it's pretty useless haha.
Used to be $400 in 2012. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 2427770558

Yep that’s right! Such a shame, it’s such a time and life saving feature :D I reckon it should’ve been from the base model up keys are too old for a 2018 car

Yeah its a pity they didn't at least add push button start to the CF, just like they now have in the Pajero Sports and a few other cars in the range. That said I do like the keyless start in my VRX, keys stay in the pocket all the time. You just causally walk up, touch the door handle and like magic you're in!

Now next step, how hard is it to add 2015 mirrors to an 09 VRX?

Washed the CJ today, been a few weeks so had dust then we got rain so for the last week or so its looked a mess. But now its nice and clean again and ready for the predicted rain tomorrow LOL

So serious question, what would happen if you put mirror of a CF onto a early CJ?
Would they fold, is the wiring in place for the indicators?
Would the plugs even be compatible?

Got the dash cams wired up to be on 24/7, now when I park it will go into parking mode until it detects movement or is shocked.

Bought these Ralli Art sport pedal set! Not genuine but not bad for $11 either! Adds a nice touch to the CF haha Image

Got DBA T2 rotors and Brembo pads fitted.
Stopping power is instantaneous, it's amazing how much difference it makes compared to stock rotors and pads. Brembo FTW! :D

Photos of are rear and front rotors, rear smaller and front bigger.
