Re: pics of your lancer in great locations
Average is about 8lt per 100km, so maybe 600 to the tank just to no run it too low, prefer to leave about 1/4 full at the end of the day.
Some minor damage when I backed into a star picket post, stupid me was not using the rev cam as I assume nothing that small was there, only used the mirrors. Should be an easy repair as it didn't hit the boot lid or spoiler. Also might have hit a small bird today, part of the lower grill is dislodged, should pop back in.
This might have tested the 'new' tyres and suspension... we turned back after a few meters. Tyres are now due for their free rotation at Bridgestone.

Re: pics of your lancer in great locations
Done almost another 1000km with no issues since this road, the RE003s seemed to have survived the little off hwy adventure.
Also went to a lookout at Cummings Monument that would turn off some SUV drivers, short but steepish into it.
Did some more dirt work, about 100km in total so far on way better roads than this, cursing around 100kph on dirt, lots of fun .
Even gave them a quick clean today...

Re: pics of your lancer in great locations
Opened the bonnet for the first time in almost 4500kays of driving!
All okay, dropped into a Bridgestone today for a quick check. Long story the new tires came with a FREE check and rotation every 5000km. But thats only at Bridgestone SELECT stores, Kalgoorlie doesn't have one. So will have to wait until Adelaide in 2500km to get them checked properly and rotated. No issues so far, running true and smooth and the still look like NEW with over 5000km on them!
FYI I'm NOT towing the caravan or anything LOL
My only 'issue' is how low the back is ridding, with the car loaded there is next to no gap above the rear tyres, great look until you go the the front which is ridding a little higher. Might need some stiffer springs all round to level it out better when loaded. BUT I don't want the ride quality to suffer. Apart from the road noise its been great driving on the new RE003s!

Re: pics of your lancer in great locations
Not a 'great location' but the Top Parks in Esperance is pretty good... but thats not what this post is about.
Did a quick fix, the leading edge of the weather shield has been coming off for some time before the trip but was annoying me sitting on 110 hour after hour... duct tape fixed it! Well I'll know tomorrow with over 700kays to cover.
Although its unlikely to just let go, I thought I'd play it safe.
Also gave the windows a good clean, vacuumed the floors, but left the dust on the wheels LOL

Re: pics of your lancer in great locations
UPDATE - had to visit this...
Also got the tyres checked and rotated for FREE at Bridgestone, PSI was a little high but no issues after about 7k on the RE003s.
And fitted a 2nd KB R40 dash cam to the back window of the Lancer, on clearance at OfficeWorks for $94, normally over $150!
