Not many replies so a bit of a shot in the dark here, but I agree a later time would be better.

New time: Sunday April the 29th at 11am. Depending on numbers we should at least be there about an hour so there is some leeway.

As an aside, do you have an agenda for the meet? Are there specific things you want to discuss? It's all well and good to want to grow the club again, but there needs to be some sort of direction (and a person to drive it).

At this stage it's just a social meet up to check out each others rides and gauge how many people are interested in this sort of thing so no real agenda.

There has been the suggestion of incorporating the club but to do so you need a minimum 5 people which would mean the club would have to grow in Vic, this is something we can discuss if we want but nothing is set in concrete and as it's a social thing nothing is off the table.

And as for washing the car at least your car isn't black, mine gets dirty again 10 sec after washing

Just to be clear, whilst the requirement for incorporation in the jurisdiction of the State of Victoria requires a minimum of five members, these do not have to be Victorians. As far as I can tell, it seems the only requirement regarding locality is that the registered office (perhaps the office of the club's accountant) would need to be in Victoria and the Secretary (previously the Public Officer) needs to reside in Australia. Once incorporated we could then apply to become a Registrable Australian Body with ASIC which would allow us to operate nationally.

IMO, incorporation is the first necessary step to growing the club. I did send Troy (aspir3) a PM regarding some of this on April 10 but am yet to hear back. There are some other issues that would need to be resolved that are best left to less public discussions which it is likely only he can help with.

Alternatively, and as Mooman suggests, we could get our numbers up in Vic, and in particular enough peeps whom are willing and competent enough to fill the office holder roles (President, VP, Secretary & Treasurer) and then start a new club. Once established we could then invite the other members here to join us...

I will most likely make it, but not sure if I'll have time to make my ride all nice and shiny...

I'll aim to be there a little before 11am but if you are the first just park anywhere, the car park is large enough we should be able to get a few spots near each other but it isn't so large as to get lost. Just look for the CJ/CF's.

Hope the weather holds so we can get a few photos and it will be a reasonable turn out. See you there.

Thanks for organising things, Mooman. It's good to put faces to names and to talk as long as we did over so many topics.

Hopefully the next time someone kicks off a meet, there will be more people present.

It was good to have a poke around in your cars to see a few more differences I wasn't aware of such as the foam blocks in engine bay, rubber caps on bolts in boot and sump guard covering oil filter.

Now I just want to see a greater range of years and trims to see what is due to age (MY12 refresh) or just ES vs VRX etc.

Hey guys, sorry we couldn't attend, my wife had an allergic reaction to medication and ended up in the ED on Sunday morning, been a rough few days.

Hopefully we can make the next one, I'll even bring the big camera and maybe find a photo shoot location in a warehouse or graffiti district.
