Just found one of these on ebay https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Rear-Spare-Tire-Cover-Tail-Fog-Lamp-Light-for-Mitsubishi-Pajero-Shogun-8337A089/272369743519?_trkparms=aid%3D777003%26algo%3DDISCL.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140117125611%26meid%3D27f4bc8f19d54d7aa3ce5a8999bf2891%26pid%3D100009%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D10%26mehot%3Dag%26sd%3D272950822284&_trksid=p2047675.c100009.m1982
Not to bad for price. So with getting it all going one wire from the bulb to earth and the other to green wire to etacs? Is that green wire in the harness or did you just add that wire? For the etacs is it under custom variant ?

Thats a good price, I added the wire, I found the pin out after a lot of searching, at first I thought I got it wrong, but the plug is upside down, and in the pinout photo the other way up. I tested it with a multi meter before I added the wire, I have a door loom that I have used to get the wire and connector from.

I read somewhere that overseas sedans possibly could use one of the reverse lights as a rear fog light which means different taillights possibly.

Here is a picture of the euro spec light. only bit that changes is the reverse bit is red instead of white. Part Number is 8337_A087

The Sportsback rear fog light harness only runs between the rear bumper and the rear wheel arch, there is no wire between the wheel arch plug and the Etacs, you also need the small loom between the bumper plug and the fog light
