Bucket seats
Looking to change out my standard ES seats, anybody know if there are any bucket seats that come with airbags other than the evo x ones?

Re: Bucket seats
VRX/Ralliart seats have a little more padding in the side bolsters and aren't too bad for comfort. I thinks these would be a cheaper alternative. They will have airbags and will be a straight swap.Aftermarket seats are a minefield with compliance to ADR's.

Any one with any idea what it would cost to have the existing seats Upholstered for improved comfort and support with quality leather
front and rear and who does them. Still waiting for better quality molded carpets to become available.
On a previous car I used sheepskin seat covers and re shaped seat, bolstering with Dacron under the covers, worked well.
but don't really want sheepskin velvet!!?? maybe.

Re: Bucket seats
From reading in the past I’ve read (NSW compliant) the seats you replace must replace the exact number of airbags designed on the stock seats, also must be by the same OEM company of the airbags, this is what I’ve resd a few times so it seems changing seats in our cars can be a pain if you wish for different types
We are all in it for the fun!

Re: Bucket seats
Someone had some Leather CJ seats and other interior bits listed on eBay for $400, they would likely have the seat airbags (and heated). I'm sure you'd not be able to get the seats redone in leather for less.

Others have seperate prices for the different seats, total much higher.

Re: Bucket seats
Doing the 10k km interstate road trip back in May and never had an issue with the seats in my VRX, when it comes to comfort.

Re: Bucket seats
We drove for around 10 hours some days, probably stopping every 1-2 hours, even if it was just for a few minutes on the side of the road. Put it this was the built in dash warning for a coffee break didn't come up very often, a hand full of times for the whole trip.
