Lancer1993 if you're still looking on the sunny coast try the United servos, they're the suppliers of V8 Supercars and have at least 1 E85 pump at most stations.. Bit of a drive for you I know but the United in Doonan supplies E85. Coolum used to but have swapped it for 95.

I'm still in the Caloundra area and right now not in a position to do the mods to run E85.

HO! Hum! Just stick to 91 to 98ron, runs well, car made for it , no worries with availability and more than enough performance for all legal limits plus tested and tried longevity. No Surprises.

some of use dont only drive on the road tho so e85 is a very real neccesity

Its sad that some cars now are diesel only, which according to recent studies is not good for the environment or your health, E85 is a green fuel, 85% renewable and smells sweet with last time I went to the V8s!

Maybe the government should be subsidising the upgrade of suitable cars to run it?

Well the reason a lot of people got small diesel cars in Europe was they were marked as green, use less fuel and go further but given the health issues, and the whole issue with VW its killed the market. That said I was looking online at the Ford Mondeo and found the top model in the rang is only a diesel with an auto, I always thought they were a good looking car but with those draw backs no way!

Rather spend my money on an e85 upgrade to my NA Lancer!
