Does anyone know where after market molded carpets can be purchased?
Have searched everywhere and can't find anything except maybe $3000 because they would have to make a mold to make them
and I have been the only one to approach them for a CJ lancer. Nothing wrong with existing carpet, less than 2 years old and traveled less than 5000ks. Just that the quality is terrible. Also thought maybe grey to charcoal carpet would brighten up the interior.

Have you considers some floor mats, the genuine ones are around $100 from any dealer.
Got mine early on, best part is the drivers one is anchored really well and has never moved but can be removed for cleaning easily.

Maybe get one from a wrecked lancer and then pay someone to mould it or do whatever with it.
Quality is terrible? My carpet in my daily has had so much abuse in the last 3 years since I've owned it and it is still in immaculate condition. If you maintain your interior the carpet quality shouldn't be "bad"

Don't doubt the original carpet will last a long time and hold its shape and color well. Pitty there wasn't a bit more pile for a nice luxurious look and feel. Is the carpet in the XLS any different to the ES? I don't think so. Maybe it is in the EVO111???

Re: after market molded carpet for CJ CF
The previous owner of my CJ hadn't treated the carpets well, something spilled in the front left. Thus the reason I got the floor mats, just wish all of them could be secured as well as the drivers. Wreckers is a good option but lots of work to replace them.

try a few pieces of Velcro under the mats.

I'll have to try that, not sure if stick on Velcro will work, might need sewing like the drivers one.
