I just got 2 recall notices in the mail yesterday

One for the indicator and wiper stalks on the steering column and another for the control unit for them.

This is no big deal, book it in. Takes a few hours and depending on the dealer they can probably drive you to work or something.

The indicator switch issue was fixed on my RA last month when I put the car up for service. I hadn't received the recall notice then, so I had to ask the guy at the counter what it was for, upon collecting the car.

A few weeks later, I got the recall notice by post.

Still wondering if I'll get the recall notice, even though I got the work done already.

I'm still yet to receive anything, but I haven't registered with them so not expecting to really. I'll take mine in at some stage when I get some free time and can arrange for a pickup and dropoff.

I received mine last week but I'm in no hurry to take my car to a Mitsubishi dealer to only get grease applied to an electrical connection joint.

I'll keep an eye on my indicator and headlights

You can probably wait until the next service for this one, depending how long that will be.

Mitsubishi has never serviced my car.

I suspect quite a while as my car is always garaged in a dry climate and never driven with the windows down.

I'd still get it checked, cost a few hours time, that's all.

Mine is serviced by then because of a service agreement when I got the car 2nd hand through them, it was extra cover over the stock 3 months. Mine is covered for 6 years, 4.5 to go. I've found the cost is about the same unless you DIY, plus they offer a few shuttle bus while the cars is being serviced.

My car was just serviced by a trusted third party.

So I will take it to the dealers just to have the suspect parts replaced.

I would imagine that Mitsubishi would not send all the notices out in one go.I received the notices for my VRX and Evo about five weeks apart.Sending them out in batches would ensure not everyone turning up at once to have the repairs done

It didn't work for me then but yes I get what you're saying.

BTW I got both recall notices in the one envelope.

Well at least the cars details are correct and in my name.

Keen to read how others have gone with the experience with the dealers - are they causing more damage than the original problem?
