Diamond - Painting

Postby Lancer1993 » Fri Jul 29, 2016 12:12 pm

Okay looking at dressing up my CJ and painting the front diamond or using some kind of wrap.

What have others done on the front of their CJs?

I've had part of the front off before, I assume you can unscrew the diamond?

Was considering giving my CJ a Citroën DS3 Racing do over but in yellow, what do we think?

If the front badge is like the Evo one it is stuck on.

You will either have to dip or spray it or remove it without breaking it or buy a new one, spray it and put it on.

What about using some kind of stick on decal, or even colored wrap cut to size?

Or screw it and just paint the lot

Just buy some vinyl and cut it to shape. It's easy and cheap to do and easy to take off.
Most automotive stores sell vinyl and sign writers.

I was thinking of that, does anyone have a pattern to follow?

Just cut a small piece that covers the emblem then use a sharp knife and cut around the diamond

Be warned, once you start to vinyl it's very addictive
