Brisbane - http://www.autostarsky.com.au

Seems to know his stuff but couldn't get the ODO exactly the same and works out of his home. Also as I know the difference and can get a fine tune later.

I heard AK Racing (also in Brisbane) is looking at getting set up to do this kind of work, not sure when or how much they will charge.

The only other place I found was http://www.sgesco.com.au, but they charge $350 and it takes 3 days, also if they need to reduce the kays then they need a stat-dec to cover them selves so try finding an odometer with less kays than you currently have.

Got one in my CJ.

Bit of a pain to fit and you'll need to get the odo reset.

hardest bit was getting the brightness switch in place as I was putting the cluster back in.

Getting close to being cheaper to buy the next model up with the better cluster and all the other goodies, although now all MY16 models have have the high end one. :D

Never understood why Mitsubishi would put the colored cluster in some cars and not others at the same time, surely the red ones weren't that much cheaper to order from the supplier?

Probably the best plan, and when it gets close just drive around the block a few times.

Mine was 20k difference, so I could not wait. would be over a year before I caught up.

I'd love to get one, but I can't find anyone in perth that will correct it, and at 135k km's, most are a fair bit below mine.

EDIT: Are the manual and auto screens different? I noticed that the auto one shows current gear (P, R, D, etc.), would this be compatible with the manual gearbox? Would it detect it's the manual and adjust appropriately? I did find this one.

No difference, being an LCD when you plug it in the computer displays what you need for your car auto or manual and adjusts the displayed info.

Biggest thing I like its it looks more crisp and clean, not just the center LCD but the main dials. Also the temp and fuel are on all the time, much better than the old one.

As I said before, just make sure it's from a petrol ASX or Outlander, just check the rev counter, if the redline is 6500rpm you'll be fine.
