You can place it on a fixed window on the left hand side or the front windscreen. Fixed window is one that can't be moved or opened

Might be something that they changed in the last few years Josh. I had mine in the back left corner with my Barina 5 years ago. Since then, I had to keep it on the winscreen for my soft top Wrangler, and now same on the Lancer. They keep changing the rules so often its hard to keep up!

As someone who has been there done that, you get close to $100 off with the HCC. The concession amount is at the very bottom of the rego page, on the cheque part of it.

Pretty sure your sticker has to be on the front windescreen, I know a person that has stuck it right up the top under the tinted part of the screen and has no grief from the cops about it but it is supposed to be visible.

As for the colour, sorry dude, we all have to deal.
8, It's a Melbourne record :P

It's awful we pay about 50 bucks a month just to keep our cars on the road. We can't even call them roads in some places, they're bumpy and dangerous especially during rainy days when puddles are all over the place and the car in front of you can splash water right on your windshield. Good thing the auto wipers are up for the job.

Top that with speeding fines, hefty tolls and what-not. Victoria is certainly the place to be.

Joined up on a group that hates centerlink on facebook aswell, coz like thats how mad i am at them. Had to pay full price for the rego...so no personalised plates for me this year =(.

^^^ No, centerlink were telling him that he is a "dependent" child. When you leave school and go to uni/tafe and leave home then they class u as an "independent child" and will grant you a HCC if you are in the lower class wage earnings (centerlink payments or part time job)!

Yeah, centerlink made a mistake for how long you held that card. You should have only received your own at around 17 when you finished school and now work part time/study and are living either at home or moved out.
