Bought those universal ez-lip/rhino lip off eBay and cut it to fit between the VRX pods. Used a drill to make some holes and mounted it with zip ties. I actually like the look of the zip ties(gives it that mean look), however I am not sure how long they'll last in the sun. Might give screws a try next time. Thoughts?

Not much except for this one:
Pretty much just cut the lip to shape. Mark 9 evenly space holes on the lip(about 10cm's apart). Pierce holes with a knife and thread a zip tie through each one. Position lip against car and drill a small hole(just enough to fit zip tie) through the 9 holes you previously made, and into the body of the car. Thread the zip tie in and over the grill.

Use UV treated cable ties and you should be alright
