I have replaced my parking bulbs with LED's from Jaycar on my 2014 Sportback and all it took was a bit of force. Just pull further down the globe as well. more towards the socket then pulling from the top. Hope that helps.

They just need a good yank

As long as your holding the connection and the globe separately there should be no issue

So back with the issue of the LEDs for the reverse lights.

Noticed something weird last night, went to change out on of my flickering LEDs and when I installed the new ones, putting the car into reverse, the lights will go off after about two seconds.

I thought nothing of it so left it in and then when I went to drive off, it kept happening. Replaced them with my old halogen ones and it's all fine again.

I'm guessing it's resistor related. What wattage are people running on their reverse lights?

hi,

New to the forum - hoping to get some advice as this is my first lancer and I'm not that handy with doing any mods.

I bought a 2015 LS Lancer

Hoping to change the headlights to something liek these two but want to ensure that they will be an easy fit to my car.

Both involve removing the front bumper. Try searching Utube or asking a member who has done it before.

Otherwise most panel beaters will be able to fit it but it takes half the fun of modding your car if you pay someone to do it for you.

thanks, I think something basic would be ok as I will get my friend who has changed lights in his 86 to give me a hand. I just really want to ensure the lights will fit my model and that the cost is reasonable for the parts. Just making sure the seller isnt saying whatever just to get the sale.

Plenty of members have them. Most seem to buy them from Mars Performance

Mars Performance is great bit expensive but the customer service, fitment and quality are worth it. Recently I had one of my angel eyes stop working as a cable got cut in the inverter probably from rubbing on some metal in the engine bay as i didnt secure it properly. All I did was ask them for a replacement and how much it'll cost. Within a day they got back to me asking for a photo. Sent them one and 3 days later I got the whole part ready to plug and play for free. Only one headlight angel eye was broken but they sent me two so I'd have a spare.
