If your looking for insurance and your young (under 25) I would try AAMI, they are more generous on younger drivers!
I have always had both my Lancer's insured with AAMI and they have very quick / excellent quality when making a claim through them! They even supply a free taxi home from the repairer (and not just a taxi, more like a flash Caprice or 300C)!
Highly recommend AAMI, they are excellent, I have just turned 25 but before hand some quotes were up to $2000 for a VRX and AAMI were less than $900, even cheaper than Youi where it seems you can't drive your car as much as you might want to!

A couple of years ago I decided to get a quote at Youi given there ads about being so competitive but yes it also turned out more expensive than AAMI.
I agree there are good when it comes to claims, my coupe decided it would like to drink some water about 10 years ago, busted the engine which lead to about 5k worth of repairs. I still had to pay some costs on top of the excess, for the ware and tear on the engine given how how of the car was at the time but it was all sorted quickly.

Definitely try AAMI!
I am 24 and it costs $1600 annually to insure my 370Z through AAMI. If you are paying ANYWHERE NEAR that for a NA lancer you're being completely ripped off
And my excess is only $650, because AAMI don't slap an extra $500 on for being a young male like most other quotes I got (or any performance vehicle excess).

I know this thread has not been used in a few months but my AAMI insurance is due, it's gone up a bit to $612 with a $600 excess.
Been considering paying monthly at about $55pm, total is about $85 for the year but it's better right now than a $612 hit.
BTW that premium comes down a little if I have a $750 excess.
