So here in QLD for $165 you can get what they call classic plates.
basically you keep your existing number but for $165 you get them in black and white or white and black.
You also have a choice of normal or slim line and if you want the diamond in the middle, you also keep them for life with no on going charges.

Now I think they are a great bargain to make your ride stand out and really good if you have a black or white CJ. Plus you don't look like as much of a cock with CJ VRX as a personal plate, plus it's heaps cheaper.
Anyone here in QLD (or other states) got them also how much have you paid for personalized plates?

QLD Classic Plates are they worth it?

Was actually wondering the same, thinking of getting black with white, I probably wouldn't go slim, for my car anyway as I have a side plate mount on the front, and the wider plate covers the mount. But for the price, definitely worth it. I'll probably ask for them as a Chrissy present though 😉
