I know this is over a year old but needed to comment.

About 15 years ago my parents when to the track while in the area (not during the race) and he pulled off the road to look at the view. Ended up bogged in the sand LOL wasn't funny at the time. I wasn't there but mum and my sister had to help push the rental car out.

In all the excitement they didn't think to take a photo, this was long before you could just rip out your cellphone to take one.
