Okay checked the Mitsy dealer this morning and he gave a cost of $170, so $115 is looking a lot better.
You should be able to use the current push pins but they aren't that expensive even from the dealer. Needed some for my coupe in the lower part of the bumper and were only a few dollars from memory.

Yeah mines $170 + shipping. There's only one Mitsubishi dealer here and in the whole state AFAIK and whenever I ask for something it always needs to be shipped up. And talking to the panel beaters apparently the dealer actually doesn't keep stock of 90% of parts. I've asked for Footwell Lights, RA Bonnet, RA Intake, Quarter Panel, Foglights, Double Din Facia and a few others.

My current ones are missing, my mate and I thought it was a good idea to leave all the push pins for the intake, grill cover and tyre wells on the windscreen where the wipers are. Jumped in to make a quick trip around the block. All gone. We are hopeless.
I've also found:
- His lighter inside my front bumper behind the fog light covers about a month after he touched it.
- My little side cutters under the black grill cover probably 6 months after it was last removed.

Sounds like someone who needs a tool caddy, I use mine all the time. Tools and parts go in as I work on the car so I can find them later.
Back to the RA snorkel if others want to contact AK Racing they can, maybe if enough of us do then we'll get a good price?

The Scorpion is about $160 with shipping so IMHO better off just paying Mitsy and getting it from the dealer, probably withing a few days.
Again if we can get them for around the $115 mark well be doing good, much above $150 then we're better off going to the dealer.
I do have a question, using a VIN number for a car you don't own, does that list that someone bought a part using that VIN number which the owner of that car will then find out?

That's a good question mate. Yeah I'd want to know if you can use any VIN or do you need proof of ownership. Or do they log it. Because it's look a bit suss with one RA VIN purchasing 3 or 4 intakes.
The only reason I'd go RPW is because I want the SRI and if I buy both together the shipping is cheaper. And my Mitsubishi dealer would need to ship the part anyway.
But if the price is significantly cheaper I'd buy it elsewhere
