Hi Cassie, What do you mean by one is narrow and the other is wide?

If you talking about the length of the blade then yes, the drivers side is 600mm and the passenger's side is 450mm.

as in the width of the blade to slide into the arm the drivers side was wide but the passenger side was narrow i used the supercheap auto guide and it said narrow... not that big of a deal because i ended up getting a set that was both narrow and wide but i just thought it was weird.

Strange I don't think I notice the width being different, just the length.

So you mean the thickness of the blades, not the length.

Not seen that before but haven't taken much notice of the stock ones on mine.

When I replace mine it will be with something like this.

Tridon Flex Blade Wiper, put some on my old coupe and they work and look great.

i just got the cheap blue ones from super cheap.. the driver side went in easy but the passenger i needed two people to help me get it through because it was tight... so could it just be an after market arm?

Both wipers are different thicknesses on the mounting groove.

Is it worth getting them on eBay at 1/3 the price?

The below listing has a set of 2 (18" and 24") for the CJ for just $24, most in store are about that for each of the old style metal ones and the new style plastic ones are around $70 for a set of 2.

Really? That's bloody stupid.

Although a pair of needle-nose pliers should sort it out quick-smart...

As for wiper choice, I've always gone for the ones with two 'blades'. They seem to work better.
