I absolutely hate that!! With a passion.

Anyways I took my lancer on a nice drive to Rutherford which is 2 and a half hours of highway driving from me on Friday
So today it was a nice clean run back down

Stuck my new personalised plates on the car today :); running out of things to do to her. Might have to start saving my pay checks soon. Ignore the blur; phone camera is a bit bodge.

Also this talk about cleaning cars? Try living in an outback town with dusty roads and having your girl-friend living out on a 2km dirt road. Be lucky if I go a week without needing to give it a good wash.

I have to comment. Though in test photo she looks nice and clean. Looking great. Me today. Well I worked today. And to my horror found bat poo all over my car after work today. It seems they aim just for my car

Been thinking of getting the cheap $165 plate upgrade option (QLD) which gets you new slim plates in B&W but using your standard number. I'd say they look a better than the stock plates without being to expensive.

Yea id go for it if you cant justify dropping the $500ish for personalised ones. I just figured you get them for life and can change the colour for a bit more dosh, why not.

Yea if you saw the amount of red dust sitting on the back of it youd be spewin'.

Got my new Pirelli P1 tyres fitted this morning. First impressions, tad softer ride & a slight reduction in road noise compared to the stock Yokohama's.

Work again today. And to top it off. Crappy weather. Suppose I won't be fitting my scuff guards today

Today I got 3 new chips on my windscreen because an oversize truck decided to do 100 through an 80 zone and overtake! Woo, now for work to fix them 😂

Ouch. Yeah I washed all the dirt off with a pressure washer this afternoon and will wash it properly another day.

Forgot to upload a pic of my tail lights when I finally got them in and worked out. I'll get a pic or two up tonight of how they look in the dark.

Started on my new sub box today. Currently have this in the back. Box was brought when I had my VR, and unfortunately the boot floor is higher in the RA so the box does not fit properly, meaning the sub fires upwards and does not convey the bass properly into the cabin, as well as eating up 2/3 of my boot

Image

So this is the initial days work, making the mold and using the existing RF sub mounting points to attach it to the car. Looking at either a sealed 1.25 sub or, if the mold is big enough a ported (tuned to 33Hz) 1.65 sub. Will decide once I know how much flexibility I have regarding box size

Image
- Self tuned - work in progress - tune revision #16_03
- GS 3 port controlled wooooot :)
- Lowered on Kings
- Black Evo X FMIC/ Evo IX BOV/ Depo HFC/ UR UICP
- Awesome self installed Alpine/JL Audio sound system
- Whiteline Rear Swaybar
