Hi I guess im new 8) Ive owned a lancer ce coupe for 10 yrs and now in the next few days im getting a new 09 sedan. Only dilemna im having at the moment is what colour to choose, was going to go black, but im tooo lazy to keep it clean all the time, so my other options are effect grey or red. Ohh the headaches!! :twisted:

I'd say go grey, looks good. I have a black lancer and scratches etc show up very easily. The paint is also very thin on these cars.

Hi welcome.

I own an effect grey Olympic Edition and it's a bitch to keep clean.

The only color which you will find no problem keeping clean is really Champagne!! It's fugly as though... .

I'd say stick to black else you'll regret it.

p.s. Yes I wanted black as well... .

Red All the way!!!111!!!!

I was in the same dilema as you mate and I chose red. Glad I did too, as the number of blacks/greys that are on here (and show up to meets) is huge. The red adds a splash of colour to the meets, that's for sure!

So don't be monochromatic and get red! Look in the pic below how much better the red looks!

All the colours are an absolute prick to keep clean, apart from silver.

Whatever you do don't get blue, too many blue cars.

As much as I would say "Black", they are a bitch to clean. Sometimes twice a week and polishing every 4 weeks. (and spray detailer in between polishes every week). I wouldn't mind the metallic red rock colour, blue is nice, or the Gunmetal grey colour you can get for the VRX.

But there is no nicer coloured car than a newly washed and polished black CJ lancer!!!!
