Hi, recently i got on my dash ABS and ACS warning lights. tried to read fault codes with a OBD2, but no fault codes are recorded in the ECU, tried to disconnect the battery hoping that will clear off, but with no result.
Now the question is: Is my car safe to drive to my mate work shop to read the fault codes with a scan tool, or i risk to cause more damage? I drove the car safe home after the warning lights came on and the car was running fine, nothing unusual, just noticed on my drive way i lost hill start assist, but i'm aware that is because i lost traction and abs control

ABS\ASC is part of another linked ECU so if there is a fault the system may not be functional. hence the warning light advising.
Worst thing that can happen is a full lock when braking heavily thus increasing your stopping distance and losing your ability to continue steering the vehicle.
just drive normally and use your brakes in a gentle manner and you will be fine.
Also not all scan tools can pull ABS codes as it is stored on a different ECU.
Functionality of the scan tool chipset and software.
first thing is check battery health and charge state.
Then pull codes and continue troubleshooting.

Pretty sure you have it as well. Stop on a hill put the car in park than take it to "d" and take your foot of the brakes, your car should be still on the brakes till you touch the accelerator
Also my situation doesn't look bright at all, i think i need to start to look into replacing the ABS pump or module or both
Got "C2116- pump motor voltage low" fault code, after a look on google looks like i don't have other option, checked the no 26 fuse in the engine bay, looks ok i have the battery to get it checked and if that is ok as well is time to call Mitsu to see what's gonna happen and also to see what a heck is going on with the serpentine belt replacement.... been 3 months (i think) waiting for them to get back to me

i'm already looking into a second hand one, but now i'm just waiting for mitsu. i'm booked in for the 22nd of April for the drive belt replacement, told them about the dash warnings and they gonna look into it and we go from there...
