AFS Warning Light

Postby jophopkins » Fri Mar 27, 2015 11:41 am

Hi guys, been reading the forum topics but cant find an answer to my problem

I have just bought a 2009 Evo X MR, the previous own changed the headlights to After Market ones and does not have the original ones anymore.

The AFS light is flashing and the screen in the center of the cluster is saying AFS service required . Its so annoying :(

Apart from changing the lights back would anyone know how I could stop this?

Thanks

Joel

you may be able to code ETACS to disable AFS.
I get the feeling it would be a option coding just like foglamps.

this is only currently possible with the MUT 3 tool. so dealer, but there are a few members that have them.

ha!

your looking at a couple grand for an official one from SPX automotive.
otherwise you can try your luck for a Chinese copy from Alibaba for what ive seen for around 800 bucks with "coding ability"

have you checked on evo oz or the USA forums?
they may have more answers to your questions. also more active participants that may be able to lend a hand.
