Ordered myself a focus ST! much nicer, fresher and newer than the old CJ design. RA will sit in the garage until I work out what to do with it.

oh nooo, u bought a folvo, lol.

a turbo charged FWD with its inherent axle hop and torque steer?
they may be a little better in interior finish but i`ll bet on a RA, the AWD transmission coupled with the SST gearbox is much better in the mountains and on the 1/4 mile :)

besides its a hatch.

Probably true, but still waiting for the dealer "to get parts" to fix my leaky SST, I've given up chasing them after 4 weeks, and the focus is a true manual, none of this dual clutch stuff! Plus my 10 year old magna has less squeaks and rattles in the interior than the lancer does after only 6 months!
The ST drives alot nicer and smoother, not as much lag off the line (being manual helps). My own fault really, should've believed all the reviews about issues I read about the SST before. The ST will do until the big guns from Ford\GM\Chrysler (Mustang\Camaro or Vette\Challenger and Charger) are confirmed for here
