Car not starting

Postby piggot » Fri Mar 20, 2015 11:43 am

Ok so had few problems with my cj 2012, first the battery needed replacing, then I was told it was the starter motor giving me the trouble. Starter motor has been replaced and the battery installed but now when I turn the key I get nothing, no lights come on, nothing happens? Need help any ideas what could be wrong and what to do to fix? Thanks

Got a multi-meter or a test light? Start at the battery check if you have power then check the terminals- make sure they are clean and tight then check to see if you have power at the starter Good luck

Don't have a multi-meter or test light will invest in one, and check. Or would it be easier to call lubemobile out and have a look? Cheers

2012 should still be under warranty.
If you have been having it serviced at Mitsubishi it should have road side assist.

I would have called the dealer first, if its still under the factor warranty.

Hopefully they can cough up for the new starter motor and get it running again quickly.
