Dropped mine in this morning. They said it should be done by about 3. Fair enough I guess? There were like plenty other Lancers that came in the same time I did.

Thank goodness for friends that live nearby. ;_;

I thought about it! LOL

I got the car back at 3.. turns out they couldn't contact me cos they typed my number wrong. Good news is, the drive belt and pulley have been replaced. Bad news is my car has a bit of a problem.

Now I'm worried for mine, what kind of problem and will Mitsubishi fix it?

Most annoying thing about mine is I just picked it up and I told them about the recall and apparently the sales guys didn't do anything about it while it was in for it's 90k service, which is the big one.

I work at a mitsu dealer and i do these 3 of these things a day.
We remove the pulley and tensioners and mesure them to see if there is wear on the edges, if there is they get replaced.
Then with the belt, that gets changed to a rubber back type belt.

Im doing my own this weekend :D

My car somewhat stalled while they went for a short drive as part of a check up... it's a CVT, and it stalled. -.-
It had an idling issue, which they fixed for free (woohoo). But if it pops up again then I'll bring it back in.

The person servicing your car should do checks on yours while they replace the stuff and take note of anything that's amiss. That's how I found out about the issue I got.

Mines a manual but I will mention the car just had a big service (at a different dealer) and see what they say. I do wonder if they replace the belts at 90k?

Had mine done yesterday, had the drive belt and pully replaced! :D

Although I didn't get any paperwork of any kind, did others get paperwork to say it has been done?

Just wondering if they have any warnings for drivers not to go over say 4000rpm until it's been checked and fixed?

What is the worse case if a bet lets go, you loose PS/AC and stuff, it shouldn't break the engine right?
