Suggestions on boosting the Tassie population!
Okay, Firstly, If you have nothing nice/constructive to say, then please don't bother wasting your time on commenting, Trolls will be ignored
As you all obviously know, there is only myself and Court, as "active" Tassie members and we live in a fantastic state that is well, riddled with Commodores and Falcons, I know for a fact that Commodores have a few clubs around the state as I have been on a few cruises with the Fiancee with them
However, I'm starting to feel like that I'm not getting anywhere with Spotted Cards, if I get lucky, I get to talk to people and highly encourage them to check out the forum etc, as to how many people actually signed up... is well, it feels like no one is signing up and actually making any posts.
Basically, I'm asking for your help!! :3 I'm willing to take any suggestions on board to help boost the population of Tassie peeps in ClubCJ, It would be awesome to do cruises/meets etc...
Any feedback would be appreciated <3

It must be the male mind ... the first thing I thought when I seen the topic was "sex?"
Now I have read the thread though ...
I have been part of a few car clubs/forums over the years (feel old saying that) and it is hard to grow them. People are social by default, but they also form their own cliques and groups. They want to feel as part of their group and if you cannot do that then no amount of spotted cards or forums will help you.
Have you considered creating a spin off Tasmania ClubCJ Facebook page? Forums are old tech and they still have their uses but most young people these days want facebook. There are dangers of doing that if you get a few reckless individuals because you would have to be naive to not accept that police monitor facebook pages.
I wish I could give you some good news ... but in my experience it is easier to join an existing club than to recruit members to ClubCJ.
Also ... when you are placing a spotted card do you consider who the driver may or may not be or do you just card any CJ you see?

You know that you have really got to someone when they invest personal time into tracking you down all over the internet.

I basically determine how well looked after the CJ is and how it generally looks and if there have been any subtle but small mods made to it etc, :3 If the CJ Looks really bad and doesn't look like it's been looked after, I don't bother wasting my time :3
A Facebook group page would actually be a cool idea, might be worth considering actually, Do I need Justins approval to do that?

I was actually talking to my Fiancee about this a very long time ago, I know one of the guys in my local dealer, but I'm not actually sure if they are allowed to give out cards etc for that sort of thing :O

Whilst it is not uncommon for dealers to form a relationship with online communities like Preston have with ClubCJ ... I don't like your chances of getting a dealership to actively promote the club which is implied by their inclusion in any new/second hand car package.

I suggest a breeding program
I'm coming down to Hobart next year for a tuning day it looks like. Maybe we can try and drum up a mini-meet of sorts and get some of the evo X guys involved

That is a sign of endorsement. Companies are reluctant to do that because if the club does something that gets noticed, they get noticed ... good or bad. It is a lot of faith to give strangers when it could potentially impact your trading reputation.
