Jeez......It would seem that even though you won the Origin, your dealerships are still the same as ours. Dealers are the same pretty much everywhere. It is extremely hard to find one that actually truly gives a shit about you and your car. Good luck finding one of the few.

Hey Wendy, if you want a second opinion or a good mechanic consider Denstoj Auto in Carrington..He works on many evos and I have been using his services for the past 3-4 years and I'm very happy. One of the few honest mechanics left.

Thanks for the info black_ice. Went back to Kellys today with a sample of the oil taken from the gearbox. Service Manager agreed if was diff oil, apologised and agreed that diff oil could have voided the warranty. He will be getting out repair order to see who worked on the car and the mechanic will be reprimanded. Wanted to reimburse me for the oil and do another gearbox oil change....told him I didn't want Kellys touching my Lancer.

Dealerships hire apprentices and get rid of tehm once fully qualified, sometimes even before, keeps the wages down. My nephew got hte bullet 5 minutes after he got his Master mechanic licence. May as well take teh thing to K Mart, a mchanic is a mechanic
