Hi everyone,

As some of you are aware John passed Tuesday night.
No arrangements have been made as yet however I have contacted Lauren and passed on condolances from all of CCJ. I will post the details of any arrangements here once I recieve them.

As I've contacted Lauren unless you were close to John can you please refrain from msging Lauren, I'm sure she doesn't need 101 msgd at the moment. I will pass on any information in both directions. Perhaps write your msgs here and I can pass on or PM me.

I'm trying to see if I can obtain some club funds for flowers if not I will be passing the Ol hat around.

CCJ is funding for flowers etc
Lauren is happy for any members to attend so those wishing to attend arrangments (TBA) please advise so I can give Lauren numbers.

And if have to add I was always envious of Johns blue na mods and he was forever an inspiration to me (cj-blue) (cj-blue) and not to mention being the only fellow CCJ member to turn up to my first Ipswich meet, there was only two of us but we talked, compared mods On each other's blue CJ's till late lol

If Lauren has emailed anyone directly however, it would be impolite not to reply directly, she can pick up your personal messages of condolance at a later date.

Hi Jade. Thanks for the message. John has spoken fondly of you. I am happy for any member who knew John to attend. If you could liaise and advise of numbers, that would be great. I think he would get a kick out of it, as he did with all meets and runs.

I'm new to clubCJ, sadly not having a chance to meet John; however he seemed to have a great positive impact throughout the club.

Perhaps an annual memorial cruise?

Martin I've spoken with Lauren and will continue to liaise with her re arrangements and numbers of members who wish to attend. As I said if members were close by all means please do make contact however I can guarantee being bombarded with texts from all is not easy to deal with in a difficult time like this. I'm uncertain if it was a broad state msg that was sent to all or those just in his contact list at this stage.

I'm going to collate all the condolances and perhaps any lil stories that pop up to pass on.
