.
Spent the best part of seven hours cleaning Myra; washed the outside, washed the engine bay, washed the wheel arches, chamoised dry with Eagle Wax As U Dry and then applied Meguires Gold Class Wax on the roof, bonnet & boot.
Armor-Alled the interior, went over the leather with Armor-All leather wipes, vacuumed the interior and the boot.
Had a cheese & onion roll for lunch.
Then fitted my home-made boot-liner, refitted the Ralliart floor mats (after vacuuming and washing them previously!), put the cheap mats I got over the Ralliart ones to keep them clean, fitted the new dashmat, fitted the Lancer neoprene front seat covers, then cleaned the interior glass (badly as usual).
Had a quick go over the bigger scrapes on the mags with a light cover of body filler and sanded that back, ready for painting tomorrow...
Back upstairs for a quick slash and a Pepsi, then down to fit my last remaining 'Spirit' sticker in the usual spot and put an AK sticker on the rear drivers side quarter window.
Then spent a fair amount of time just walking around looking at her...
Must be love...

I pulled my plates off today! for the first time since the beginning of the year when I got my pink plate protectors... :L Needless to say behind the plates was incredibly dirty
But! I hand washed her for the first time in a while! :3 Also noticed alot of chip marks on the front bumper :L and a few new marks on the rear that I hadn't noticed until now, but.... It's kinda got me thinking of an after market bumper
with my number plate being moved to the side :3
Not going to lie, She looks better without plates

you twist it and then it slides out I believe. It's not hooked in or anything there is just a bend when it sits in the hole, if that makes sense.

The boot has struts too, which now would be older than the new ones I installed. Now it's installed if I had an issue I would source a replacement from repco or somewhere. I just wanted to clean up the bay and remove the old worn looking stand.
We don't need to know about Steve's loose bits Martin, that would be bad while I'm having my breakfast lol
