Hey guys, have been watching over the forum but haven't bothered joining until this past weekend as I was not yet an owner.
I just cashed in on Agostino Mitsubishi new financial year sale and scored me a brand new MY14.5 Lancer ES Sport Sedan (CVT) for $19,990 drive away in white.
Finance approval came through today and it should be ready to drive away by Thursday (however having to work my butt off now so probably wont get it until Saturday).
I had been looking into getting an evo 7 for quite some time, but figured it really wasn't worth paying more for a car that is a decade old.
So once I get back on my feet after taking the deposit/insurance hit I'm thinking 18" XXR 527's in black and possibly doing a vinyl wrap or trying some of that plastidip on the roof. Also want to have a look at getting some new front and rear lights. The factory ones are nice, but some of the stuff on marsperformance would definitely add to it.
Either way, I'm super excited and can't wait for it! Sleep is going to be hard over the next week.

Where abouts in SA??
I would go vinyl, plasti dip does not like our summers and gets a bit difficult to remove once baked if not applied properly trust me

Welcome to the club!
I have Eagle Eye headlights and Tail lights, photos in my garage. I think there all the same just different suppliers. Also think about interior led upgrade (it's just a bulb swap).
Checking out a few members garages or pop along to a meet!

Heya Connor
Welcome to the club!
Congrats on the new purchase. We actually have a cruise/meet this coming Sunday 27th. Heading out to Gumeracha. If you're free pop down and say hello. Its a great way to see our lancers and all the different mods.
Enjoy!

I might just come along! It'll probably be the 1st or 2nd decent drive, probably less than 100kms on the odo by then haha.
I've been looking through your Garage Jade (along with many others), really do like lights. Probably have to wait a few months before I start doing anything drastic, but the blue LED looks real nice. I'm going for a white/matte black/ blue colour scheme.
Also looking into tinting, I've only just come back from living in Canada for a while, my understanding is 35% being the legal limit?

Yeah pretty sure 35% is the limit here in SA. However the cops don't tend to pick on tint unless they are looking at other things defect wise.
There seems to be a few members going for the white n black look. I'm going blue n black, eventually.
Here's the link for cruise info. We have a cruise every month, usually at the end of the month. And we also have a few pop up last min mid week meets.
