Stone chips on my bonnet :/
Hey guys, ive got (what i think it is) stone chips across my bonnet which look like little grey marks where the paints been scrapped off. Has anyone had the same problem or know if it would have to be resprayed to fix???
2010 Lancer VRX 👌
stonechips will happen overtime
mitsu paint is thin
touch up paint would fix it and get yourself a bonnet protector or car bra to remove the chances of future ones

Just think of it as an adventure, every time you wash your car you find something new

And what Ryan was saying too, I've thought that the next time I go to buy a car I'd like to offer to wash it as an inspection because you notice so much. Might look a bit weird tho', still, a great way to inspect a car.

Mine's a MY10 and I've given up being fussed about stone chips - too many to keep up with touch up paint. I've got headlight and bonnet protectors, but the latter doesn't do a heck of a lot to protect the bonnet. And I drive 50 minutes on a freeway each way each day to work, so you'd think the road surface would be pretty good.
Lancer paint terrible. Hopefully Mitsubishi will do something about that with the next release (along with adding more sound deadening material .........).
