Noob here..Lancer GT 09 Owner future Rallart owner

Postby Sasukesk8 » Sun Jun 08, 2014 12:34 am

Hey everyone I'm a proud GT owner. I'm glad to find a form for just Lancers.
I'm excited to meet the members here. I'm looking at a used Rallart at my local dealer. Trying to upgrade my GT for a little faster and affordable car.
the Rallart is $15,000 with 40k miles.. not bad right. want to know about fuel economy I know it 17 city and 25 highway. I work 20 miles away and what do you use for gas (plus, regular, or super?) Future mods coming into the rallart. Heard the intake would help boost uo the economy? any help ? and advice? Not getting an evo..cant afford it yet lol :roll:

:) :welcome: :wink: :P

G'day and welcome to the Club!

There are plenty of very enthusiastic RA owners on here - most of us poor folk on here own NA Lancers and aspire to RA ownership.

EvoX owners are different - they live up in the clouds and protect the mere mortals who live down here on terra firma...

:-D

Have a look around on the various mod forums and get involved, you'll find plenty of inspiration.

BTW,

Hood = bonnet
Trunk = boot
Gas = petrol (here gas is gas/LPG)
Stickshift = manual
Gearhead = revhead (occasionally petrol head)

ooroo = see you later! (sometimes hooroo or ooray)
:-)

all these imperial units, lol.

for petrol we use 98 Jesse which i think is the same as your 93 octane.

my advise is to buy it, theyre so much fun to drive.

and welcome to the club :)

^ what Steve said ......the RA is so much fun and a more everyday drive than Evo. A fellow Evo owner drive my RA once and was very impressed with it.

A tune will help dramatically and also give better fuel economy. Steve and I tested this out on road trip last year. Mine is stock performance wise and on filling up tanks mine took about an extra 5 litres.

Fuel economy is ok if your not comparing to a NA lancer. I get around 330 to 400km out of a tank with mixed highway and city driving. Auto mode will save more fuel than using paddles or manual.

I've owned my RA for 2.5 years now and live it more everyday 😀
