Hi,
So looking at a set of the oem rear parking sensors, but they are in the wrong colour, what i want to know is if they would be safe to be repsrayed. Research seems to indicate that 2 coats of paint + 1 clear?
Also, can anyone confirm if there is any difference between the sedan and sportback kits? the sensors themselves look the same.

Yeah, well, on my (just replaced) company mondeo, the sensors went nuts just as soon as the car was put into reverse - after repeatedly taking the thing back over the next two years, they decided it was due to the tow ball...
...thing is, if the tow ball and sensors were genuine Ford, they work properly (like they do on the new one, and like they did on the other Rep's cars).
I got so sick of it I lost it one day and drove the car into the middle of the service reception area and demanded they fix it there and then.
They removed the entire tow bar assy.
Need less to say, when I bought a car for my own use it wasn't a Ford - Hello Mitsubishi!!!
