So, I've been out of the whole "cruising/car" scene for a while, I have a couple of questions.
a) Do you use UHF CB radio's for intra-vehicle comms?
b) Aside from the very obvious "no illegal activities / behaving like a moron", are there any other specific rules that you guys have?
c) Can someone sms me a contact number incase of an issue and we are running late? (Alternatively, PM me and I will PM you my number)
Cheers

Me an nadd have started carrying Uhf radios in our cars and use them when we go through the hills together and on the last few last min meets we have had. Its good to be able to keep in touch regardless of mobile reception incase of an emergency

As Erin said if we can see the car behind you slow down or pull over and wait for everyone to catch up. We generally try to stay together. However getting through city traffic gets difficult at times, especially when there's quite a few cars, people tend to get caught at the lights. I give a quick briefing just before we all start cruising.

As for walkie talkies I have 2 at home I will bring if I remember. They usually stay in my glove box. We used them at mount gambier last year and they worked well but in Adelaide I find they get quite a lot of interference, and the ones I have have a 3km range, but they are fun.
