My latest cheapest Mod !
(using leftover chrome strip, so either zero cost, or a coupla' dollars worth if you have to buy it...):
As you may know, I installed my fog lights last weekend, happy with the look, but still something missing...
So I went looking on eBay for the chrome surround rings, but didn't really like the look of them (too showy), so I thought I'd try to do my own...
Here's the surrounds taken from the vehicle, au naturel:
Using my leftover chrome strip (it's best to bend it 'flat' before putting it on, like so):
it's then simply a matter of following the 'flat spot' around the base of the projected bit, and you end up looking like this:
But, as the strip is sitting partially sideways-on, I then went around the exposed white sticky with a black marker:
Refitted to the car, it looks a bit more 'finished':
Whaddaya think?

For the interior lights did you guys do the map light or dome light?
I just got these : http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/360733542253 ... 1497.l2649
But they don't fit in the dome light (unless they're the wrong ones?)

Yeh that's what I thought as well but when I tried to put then in the ends were too fat and it wouldn't fit in the holes.
Also the original ones seem to be slimmer on the ends then the ones I bought...haha both ways I'll have to buy a new light globe because as I tried to stick the original one back in the metal but flicked it into the roof...then down the pillar...
