You know changing to the climate control dials will not give you climate control if that's what you're after don't you? I'm not trying to be a dick about it, I just want to make sure you know because some people think it does.
Also make sure you get a set from the same year model as your car or they may not fit, as the connector on the back changed a year or two back.

Hmmm... I've messaged a few people who've done it and they reckon it works as the only difference is a sensor on the circuit board at the back of the assy.
What's missing then?
Cheers.

There is another computer and the sensor in behind the dash near the steering wheel. I've swapped them on my girlfriends car an it didn't work. Yes air comes out when the knob is turned to 'Auto' but it doesn't regulate the temperature like climate control does.

delta_fragma wrote:Climate control definitely does work, Ive done it. There arent any ETACS settings that need changing (Ive checked with a MUTIII). You need to install the temperature probe into the opening behind the vents at the end of the big trim piece, and connect it to a connector near the steering column. With regards to an MY13> one, youre in luck, I know where you can get one. Unis has one with the piano black trim that came out of an MY13 VRX, I was there a few days ago. Give him a call on 0404188505 tomorrow.
What is this about a temperature probe?

Cheers![/quote:808896d601] Ask him and make sure he throws it in with the A/C controls. [quote:808896d601=lantourismo]What is this about a temperature probe?[/quote:808896d601] Theres a thermistor inside a flexible conduit that plugs into the square opening just to the right of the hazard controls behind the trim panel.
Unis didn't include that for me
